Hello from Korea!

Sorry for the lack of posting! The internet at my orientation location has been absolutely terrible, and really frustrating. Finally tonight I was able to get a stable connection so please enjoy some pics from the last fews days. The amount I have been learning and absorbing has been enormous. I've learned many more English teaching techniques, and I can't wait to put them in to practice. Also, I have met so many interesting people from around the world, including England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to name a few. I can't wait to see what the last few days of orientation have in store, and I especially can't wait until I get back to Seoul and see my school and apartment!

Bye bye America see you in a year! (You can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance)

First glimpse of Korea from the sky! This moment was so exciting especially after a terrible two days of travel. I missed my connecting flight to Korea because of weather conditions, and so I had to wait until the next day to fly to Korea.

All bundled up for the freezing temps and snow.

Snowed the first day at orientation

Wearing a traditional Korean look called Hangbok. All the colors are so beautiful. (Ignore the beanie and awkward pose haha)

Field Trip to a Korean Folk Village

 Traditional dances/costumes

 Stereotype anyone? =p

Totally creep pictured this kid haha. He was so adorable with his churro!

My stick bird thingy I had to make... not sure what it represented...

 "I Love You" Korea!

My time here has been amazing so far! Looking forward to sharing everything with you over the next year!
