Floral Flare

  Warmer California weather and some floral flare is exactly what I needed to escape the winter blues. After a few weeks of some pretty darn cold weather it was nice to feel the onset of an early spring. So I pulled out spring's must have color, mint and paired it with a feminine floral skirt. I want to play more with shapes, and so I wore this figure flattering flared sweater to contrast the slim silhouette of the skirt.

After getting to work I realized that a pair of nude pumps would have complimented this outfit so nicely. Now if only I had some..... maybe my next shoe purchase? Never the less, I do think that these brown boots go well too, and give the look a colder weather feel (we are still in January after all). 

Do you think that nude pumps would have been better suited for this? Or are you liking the boots?
