Casual Christmas

Sorry for the lack of posting over the past few days. I had a week off from work and took advantage of my time off by taking a trip to the mountains to enjoy some must needed fun, and relaxation. Posts on that adventure to come!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday filled with love, laughter, and joy! I also hoped you stuffed your bellies full, I know that I sure did! Still recovering from the food coma, and sugar high. So how was your holiday?!

This Christmas my Aunt and Uncle were here from Germany so it was an extra special time for my family. We spent the day at my grandparents for a relatively small casual affair, and so for my Christmas look I went comfy and casual.

I really love these waxed burgundy jeans from AE because the color is perfect for the holiday season. In addition, it's a great jean that can be dressed up or down. Currently, I'm really loving pairing sweaters with button down shirts. Surprisingly, it's not a look that I have experimented with before in the past, even though it's such a classic pairing.

This winter white cable knit sweater from H&M is a great staple piece that works great over this tie dye jean shirt. I sized up in the sweater for a more oversized look (great for covering an expanding food filled belly haha).

Then I topped off my look with my rhinestone cowboy booties that I adore, and am constantly wearing, and these great bow earrings from ModCloth that add a touch of femininity.

What was your Christmas look? Did you go fancy or casual?
