Blown glass ceiling in the Bellagio
Fall decorations in the Bellagio
It's the Eiffel Tower!! JK.... just a hotel version.
Who doesn't love a road trip?! Especially when you haven't done one with your family in years... And this particular road trip was extra special because we were making our way to Utah for my best friend's wedding. My BFF and I have been close for almost 20 years so this was an event that couldn't be missed, and I was also a bridesmaid (my first time)! Pics from the day to come!
On the way to St. George, Utah you have to go through Las Vegas so my family and I decided to take some time and explore Vegas for a few hours before getting to our final destination. First we had scrumptious Indian food that we discovered thanks to an always useful friend, Yelp. Then we explored the Bellagio hotel, which was expertly decorated for fall with delightful pumpkin patches, flowers, and even an animatronic tree! Then my father and brother headed off to a casino for some gambling fun and free drinks while my mother and I traipsed about the shops in the Venetian hotel. Besides the constant shoving of prostitute calling cards in my face (why are they every where????), all in all it was a great spontaneous afternoon.
The key to any good road trip look is to be comfortable. That's why I choose these fun and comfy polka dot jeggings from American Eagle, and a simple white t that was spiced up with a neon scarf. Also, I am completely obsessed with this ModCloth bag above, the face and arms are too adorable. I have finally named him... his name is Wallace. Me thinks it a very fitting name for such a strapping young lad. Wallace and I became quite close over the trip, and I think it's a relationship that will last a lifetime.
Have you been to Vegas? What did you like or dislike? What is your go to road trip look?
Thanks for reading!
