Leather on Leather

Saturday was the day of my BFF's wedding, and what a glorious day it was outside. The sun shined brightly, and patches of clouds littered the sky. It was a complete turn-around from the stormy day prior.  In the morning I quickly got ready and did my hair and make-up for the wedding so that I could be available to help get my BFF ready for her momentous day. Little did I know that there is a ton of waiting around on a wedding day so I stole a few quick moments and shot these outfit pics for you. I was planning on wearing this look for the rehearsal dinner, but the dinner ended up being more casual than I originally thought so I ended up wearing what I wore in my Entrada post. However, I still wanted to show you this look, which has pieces that I am super obsessed with this season.

Leather is a staple in my wardrobe, and a must for fall and winter. I love looove leather jackets! This purple leather jacket from Muubaa is my new favorite. I love the shoulder, buckle, and dye details. Even the piping throughout the edges of this jacket are expertly crafted. It was sheer luck that I even got my hands on this jacket. I found it tucked away at Nordstrom Rack for an absolute steal. I predict that I'll be wearing this stunner every evening all fall and winter. So beware that it might be featured in many posts to come. In addition, I have been searching for a perfect leather skirt to accompany my fall wardrobe transition, and I found it with this faux leather skirt from H&M. Soon I'll be pairing this skirt with either tights or knee high socks, and with every variation of boots.

Are you loving real and/or faux leather items this season? What will you pair them with?

I love hearing your opinions! Thanks for reading!

p.s. How gorgeous is the scenery?
