A Little Bit Country

"I'm a little bit country, and I'm a little bit rock n' roll..." by Donny Osmond (old school I know) instantly popped into my head when putting this ensemble together. The jean shirt and leather skirt evoke a more country feel while the hardware in my belt and bracelets, as well as my clutch and funky shoes read a bit more rock n' roll. The leather skirt is also in the rocker category. I always love mixing hard pieces with soft ones and I think a leather skirt with a feminine shoe is a perfect way to meld the two. Remember, I did warn you that leather would become increasingly more abundant in my outfits. It's a material that I just can't get enough of or will ever grow tired of.

And on a fun Halloween side note! I actually turned this look into a cowgirl Halloween costume for a friend's party. With just a few easy accessory additions and changes the costume look was complete! Muahaha.
        Items needed: Cowboy hat & boots, bolo tie, and a stuffed animal horse

And Presto Change-O!

Magically I became a good ol' southern cowgirl. I was even lucky enough to meet Rosie the Riveter, the Green Lantern, and Thor! Childhood dream come to true! ;)
